Vintage Danish Silver Wheat Sheaf & Robin Brooch, Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen, 1940's. Impressed mark for pattern number 250 & Georg Jensen stamp for Post 1944. Diameter 3.8cm. Weight 4.5 grams.

Arno Malinowski trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and was not only a silversmith but a sculptor, ceramist, engraver and medallist also. He worked for Georg Jensen from 1936 to 1944 and again from 1949 to 1965 creating designs for jewellery and hollow ware. His most famous jewellery designs from the 1930’s were of a kneeling deer, a dolphin in the rushes and butterflies on a flower and these continued in production for many years.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor scuff marks associated with age. Safety chain attached.
