Antique Australian Saphiret Bar Brooch, by Flett & Son, Port Pirie, South Australia.

Quite rare and of simple bar design, the handmade brooch is set with three oval 'saphirets'

Invented in Czechoslovakia, Saphiret is a dichroic glass created by fusing real gold with blue glass to give a particular and individual effect.

In near perfect condition, with good clear hallmarks this bar brooch is an excellent example for any collector of early Australian Jewellery.

Marks: FLETT & SON 9ct , unidentified mark

Condition: Excellent antique condition. No seed pearls missing or replaced.
