A lovely old Antique Diamond Gypsy Ring. Made in Chester in 1906 the tapered band is star set with a single old brilliant cut diamond of estimated weight 0.10 carat.

NB: The Chester Assay Office was permanently closed in 1962 by Act Of Parliament because it wasn’t getting enough work. The result of this closure was that Antique and Vintage items with Chester Hallmarks increased in value to collectors simply due to scarcity on the market.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. Marks sharp, minor scuffmarks associated with wear.
