Antique Victorian Silver Collar or Book Chain., 1880. This is a style of necklace that is quite typical of the Victorian period. It would have been paired with a locket and most likely had an addition link that dropped from the jump ring and connected to the locket. Oddly contemporary in design, this elegant necklace is comprised of pierced rectangular links with plain polished ball spacers, hung with a bolt ring clasp.
