Antique Victorian Silver & Rock Crystal Fly Pendant, the facetted, oval-shaped rock crystal framed in silver and mounted with a silver fly. Length of pendant including bale 6cm.

There was a Victorian fascination with the natural world, and insects were part of that. 'Huge scope for deception was provided by insect jewellery. Condition: Very good. Age appropriate scuffmarks. Very small chip to reverse of pendant where fly is attached. An unusual pendant, great proportions, beautifully made.
