Antique Australian Gold Locket, Larard Bros, Melbourne, the shield-shaped locket opening to reveal a compartment for photo or hair, the reverse plain polished.

Operating from 1874-1945, Larard Bros were wholesale jewellers and importers as well as manufacturers. (Of note they produced pick and shovel miner's brooches for the market in Western Australia)

Condition: Overall condition very good, minor dents to reverse, locket closing securely.
