Vintage Sapphire & Diamond Bridge Ring

Who doesn't love a classic bridge! Well matched blue sapphires and a lively centre diamond of pleasing proportions. A decent size, if you will. And at almost 8 grams in weight, the ring has a very nice heft.  Not a cast ring, this jewel is made with love all the way through. A beautiful hand pierced, scrolling gallery with four tiny diamonds highlights. 

Vintage Sapphire & Diamond Bridge Ring, the Victorian style bridge ring set with a central round brilliant cut diamond of estimated weight 0.70 carat, two round blue sapphires of estimated total weight 1 carat, with four small single cut diamond spacers totalling 0.04 carat. Estimated diamond colour I/J. Estimated clarity P1.

18ct yellow gold. Weight 7.9 grams. Ring size P 1/2.

Condition: Overall condition, taking into account a life well lived - very good! There is slight wear to one side of the shank where the ring has been worn alongside another ring. The sapphires do have some wear on the table facet edges, but if you do not carry a loupe, you probably will not be concerned by them in the least. So that you may have an independent opinion of this ring, we can supply a Certificate of Valuation from a Registered Valuer.

For Retail Replacement purposes (In a bricks and mortar store) they have valued the ring at $7,790.
