Vintage Mexican Silver & Turquoise Earrings, Taxco

Vintage Mexican Silver & Turquoise Earrings made by the long established Mexican Silversmithing company Tane.

Tane Orfebres (Metalsmith) has been a prominent silver house in Mexico City since the early 1940's. Acquiring cult status from the 1960s onwards, Tane was a favourite Silver Atelier for the likes of Jackie Kennedy, Catherine Deneuve, Oscar de la Renta and many others'

Inlaid with turquoise mosaic, this pair of vintage earrings, are an classic example of simple and stylish design. 

The hallmarks indicate that this is a newer item, made in Taxco and dating from the 1980's

Condition: Good vintage condition, minor scuffmarks commensurate with wear
