Antique Victorian Opal & Pearl Knot Bracelet
- ST45
Antique Victorian Opal & Pearl Knot Bracelet. A refined Victorian bracelet of 9ct yellow gold, designed as a series of double curb-link sections spaced by gold lovers’ knots, each accented with a small natural seed pearl and a white opal cabochon. The alternating knot and chain motif is characteristic of mid- to late-19th-century sentiment jewellery.
The bracelet closes with a concealed clasp and safety chain and sits smoothly on the wrist—light enough for comfortable wear yet detailed enough to stand alone. A lovely example of Victorian craftsmanship, combining decorative design with symbolic overtones of fidelity and affection.
This lovely bracelet is sold with a fitted leatherette box for Stewart Dawson, London, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
About Stewart Dawson & Co:
Founded in the late 19th century by Scottish jeweller David Stewart Dawson, Stewart Dawson & Co grew from a Liverpool workshop into an international jewellery and watchmaking firm with branches across the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Known for well-made gold jewellery, watches and fine silverware, the company became a prominent retailer of the period, with its name appearing on a wide range of quality pieces from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The company was perhaps better known in New Zealand than Australia.
