Vintage Gold Filled Necklace, the curblink necklace is hung with a bolt ring clasp. 

Gold filled jewellery is composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base of sterling silver or base metal. The gold content is typically 5% of the item’s total weight. High quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance of high carat gold and generally have a life span of 10-30 years. Eventually however the gold layer will wear off, exposing the metal beneath.
