Impressive Argyle Pink Diamond Ring
- DBPink
Impressive Argyle Pink Diamond Ring, the wide openwork band set with a single round brilliant cut pink diamond and a line of eleven grain set round brilliant cut diamonds.
- Renowned for their beauty and rarity, pink diamonds have long been a sought after commodity. The famous Argyle Diamond mine in the Kimberley region of Western Australia was the source of 90% of the world supply of pink diamonds. To put that in perspective, only one percent of the worlds total diamond reserves are pink. To add to that scarcity, mining at Argyle ceased due to depletion of reserves in 2020. This has only served to fuel demand for this rare gemstone.
Argyle pink diamonds are not large, so in the scheme of things this 0.71 carat pink diamond is quite a significant size. With the most recent grading by the GIA as VS clarity, this stone has very good clarity for an Argyle stone, many of which are highly included -

These are considered acceptable when dealing with objects that have lived a full life. Any imperfections or minor damage will be listed in the description and visible in the photo.
