Vintage Gold Watch Chain with Sovereign Case & Sovereign

A Fine Vintage Gold Curblink Watch Chain with Sovereign Case and an imitation gold Sovereign. The tapered necklace measuring 64cm, is hung with a T-bar, two swivel catches and a gold sovereign case.

Each link of the fob chain is stamped 9ct, as are the swivels, but the T-Bar is an antique Australian piece by Larard & Sons, Melbourne and has the star and bar mark to signify this.

The half sovereign is an imitation coin only, we know this because of the weight and the purity of the gold. A genuine half sovereign would weigh 3.99 grams and be made of 22ct gold. This coin weighs 2.1 grams and is of 9ct gold.

Condition: Excellent. Not much can happen to this heavy gold piece, some minor scuffmarks to the sovereign case. 9ct stamp is Swivels functioning well. Push piece is stiff but closing securely.
